I accidentally found out about this place landing here locally! I was going to Mr. Gatti's on Airline in Bossier, when I got out of my car, much to my shock and surprise, and there was a Five Guys Burgers and Fries! I have been hearing about this place on a national scale for some years now and have been wanting to try it for all of this time! I freaked when I found out there was one in Baton Rouge (but I have yet to try it), then I heard there was one in Alexandria (Really? Alexandria, before big ol' Shreveport?...whaaaaat?) And then I almost crash into the one here in Bossier (still not one in Shreveport!), but I did see one in West Monroe the other day (for real!), and turns out there's one in Lake Charles and even Lufkin! Turns out Five Guys is all over the place now...just not Shreveport...yet. Anyway, I have been to this Five Guys now, twice, and I will say this...the burger is good...not great, but good. It would maybe be great, if they weren't so expensive. They have a couple of tricks to really jack up the prices on you! Number 1-The have a "little" hamburger, which is really just a regular normal, human-sized burger...it's $3.89 plus tax. What makes it little, is that it's only one patty. A regular burger at Five guys is two patties and it's $5.39 plus tax. The aforementioned fries...you have to pay for separately, and I HATE that! A regular order of fries are $3.09 plus tax, and trust me, it'll be more than enough. A large order of fries is $4.99! Anyway, my first trip to Five Guys, set me back, now this is just for me, mind you...14 bucks!!!! Shoot, I could eat at Outback for that! And this is a fast food burger...nothing more, nothing less!...Look, I like Five Guys, I'm glad it's finally here, I appreciate the options of other places to eat, but until they get off the Times Square pricing, this ONE GUY is going to have to stay out of their circle!

Mild-inconsistencies aside, you don't come to Five Guys for amazing everything. They do burgers, plain and simple. Staff always bouncy and cheerful Burgers always cooked correctly, however inconsistencies with seasoning and topping (always get grilled onions and peppers, sometimes cooked right sometimes near-raw). Fries, yeah the fries are great. Tad pricey but seriously, nothing beats this place if you simply just want a burger. They do it right.

Decent burgers, cajun fries are good.

Yes!!! Five Guys is a dream for Celiacs!! There are only two items here that contain gluten- the buns, and the malt vinegar at the condiment station. It's up to you to avoid the latter and the employees here do a fabulous job of making sure you avoid the former. I walked in (accidentally still wearing my hot pink crocs from my day of gardening, but we won't talk about THAT) and was cheerfully greeted. I let the woman know I had celiac and could not tolerate any cross-contamination. They knew exactly what to do. As a matter-of-fact, she was telling the cook about changing his gloves and avoiding cross-contamination but he already knew what to do. THANK GOODNESS! They cleaned the counter and changed gloves a few times and even packaged my food and fries separately. They didn't have enough large pieces of lettuce to wrap my burger in lettuce, but that was just fine. My only complaint, and this is minor, is they didn't add the ketchup and mustard. I figure they wouldn't think I'd want it without the bun, so I forgive them. Oh! Another thing- does anyone else notice that sodas made in those all-in-one machines always taste wrong? Not enough syrup or something. Five Guys burgers are so good that you won't miss the bun!

Quality is above average. I love the burgers. The only thing that sucks is the price tag.

Saw a cockroach crawling across the floor and the "seasoned" fries tasted like unseasoned cardboard. Last time I will ever eat there. They have a great looking menu but they can't deliver, I've even so many cheaper, and tastier burger places and this was the worst place I've ever eaten. Please for the sake if your taste buds do not eat here.

I've had Five Guys before elsewhere, and this one did things right. Go in and order a burger, split fries with someone else and get a big thing of tea. You can customize a burger here pretty well, and my favorite is a single patty ("Little Cheeseburger") with grilled mushrooms and onions. Nothing spectacular, but it's cheap and tasty. Thanks to the guys working there who stayed open long enough for the two of us to eat. They said they aren't allowed to start cleaning up until precisely the moment they close, and they let us stay after hours. Very friendly service!

Glad this is now an option for Shreveport/Bossier. While I will probably stick with Smash as the better burger place overall, every once in a while I will need some Five Guys. While not your east coast idea of Five Guys, they've made their mark on the burger world, and I'll never be able to finish an order of fries by myself. Service and quality have been standard, just what you would experience at any Five Guys. Nothing wrong with Five Guys, just wishing for some In-N-Out.

Best burger around! Fresh soft hamburger buns, an order of fries has tons of extra fries, favorite burger place!

WAY better than SmashBurger!

Best fast food burgers in the area. The burgers don't give that sickly after feeling that Smashburger often does. Fries are just okay- well seasoned, if you get them "Cajun-style", but I wish they were crispier. If the fries were better, this would be a five star place. Still, worth the trip from Shreveport to Bossier just for the burgers. Friendly service as well.

The best burger I have ever eaten since I was a little girl. The homemade taste with the perfect understated seasoning lets you cherish the Norman Rockwell memory of Mom's skillet burgers. The tomato had a fresh grown from dirt taste, not the watery green house mass produced tomato. The bacon was perfectly cooked, not spongy nor hard, enough for a perfect hint of taste without overwhelming the fresh hamburger meat. The cup of fries is plenty for 3 people. OMG, shut up, close your eyes and enjoy!

I was soooo excited when we got a five guys in bossier. I had heard from friends that currently live or have lived up north how awesome their food was. The Cajun fries were about the only thing I was happy with. I didn't like looking at bags and bags of Idaho potatoe fries stacked near where we were sitting. The burger wasn't great either. It tasted just like Wendy's! If I want a burger that tastes like that I will go to Wendy's and pay $3 instead of paying $8 at five guys! Overall I was just not satisfied with the selection, the price, the atmosphere.
